Memorial Day Weekend at the Beach

Hello sweet friends! Did everyone have a good Memorial Day long weekend?! I sure did! We hit the road after work Friday to head to Destin. Even though Clay and I just went to Costa Rica 3 months ago, I felt like it had been forever since my toes were in the sand. Clay's family had the beach house for the week, but we were only able to stay through Monday afternoon. I say any beach time is better than no beach time, right?! We certainly didn't let any time waste while we were there. Lots of beach time & seafood! I've got the sun burn to prove it ;-)
My drink of choice for the weekend!
Some of the awesome crew!
Britt and I!
Sweet Colby and I at Louis, Louis!
Meg and David met us for dinner one night. So exciting- I love them!
Visiting the beach has to be one of my very favorite things to do! It is the most relaxing, beautiful, enjoyable place. Can't wait to get back! Coming up next will be another wedding recap from the wedding day... Stay tuned!

Tons of our friends and family came to celerbrate Clay! I ordered the ADORABLE invitations, sign, cupcake toppers and food tents from Michele Purner Designs on Etsy. What a great job she did! Check out a few pictures of the setup..
Check out the super cute invite in the flower arrangement!
Mrs. Connie's famous chcolate chip cupcakes!

We had Hot Dogs, Bratwursts, & Italian Sausage!

Toppings included:
  • Pickles
  • Jalapenos
  • Sweet Peppers
  • Tomatoes
  • Coleslaw
  • Chili
  • Cheese
  • Onions
  • Relish
  • Bacon
There was individual cups of Pasta Salad and Potato Salad!
We had to sing him Happy Birthday and make him uncomfortable ;-)
Happy Birthday to the most amazing husband!

I really do love party planning. It totally is a way for me to use my creative mind. I wish I could do it ALL the time! Anyways, we are off to Florida after work Friday with Clay's family for the Memorial Day weekend and I CANNOT wait. Hope you all enjoy the holiday weekend!

Wedding Recap: Rehearsal Dinner

Where should I start? Wow! One word really describes the wedding week, surreal. The week of the wedding was fabulous.  I guess the first place to start with is the day before the wedding!

The rehearsal went smoothly, then we hopped on the trolley and headed to Marcy Jo's for a DELICIOUS, home cooked meal with all of our wedding party and family. It was SO fun! The Watson's sure did prepare a night full of good times and laughter!
{Thank you Mrs. Connie and Mr. John!}

Way too much fun! Loved this day =)

All my wonderful ETSY wedding finds!

Hey friends! I have been absolutely awful at blogging these last couples months, but life sure has been busy. Lots of changes! This is the start of my second week at my new job. I absolutely love it! Plus, Im off on the weekends and am so much closer to home. WOO HOO! Also, this past week we celebrated my 24th birthday and boy did our friends and family spoil me. We had so much fun! Clay's birthday is up next, the big 3-0! Lots of fun things planned for that =)

Let's get back to wedding stuff! If your looking for personalized, small details for your upcoming wedding, I have to say- Etsy is the place to go. Not only can you find just about ANYTHING, the customer service of each and every shop I have purchased from is amazing! Several people have asked about certain things from the wedding so I wanted to dedicate a post to all of my Etsy finds. Just click the link under the photo to go straight to that Etsy store. Enjoy!
(No picture, but here's the sample! It has the lyrics to the song we danced to along with a photo insert & a personalized message!)
(Sample again from the shop!)
